Most of these tools promise your name will be "accepted" without checking anything. We test the text itself: does it survive Unicode normalisation, does it stay in the basic plane, does it stack combining marks. A style that gets erased is not a style.
Why does the decorated name come back plain?
Because most Latin styles are not fonts — they are Unicode mathematical letters. When a platform normalises text, which many do to stop two visually identical accounts registering, those letters collapse back to ordinary ASCII. The style was not rejected; it was silently erased.
What we check
Survives normalisation
Every style is run through NFKC. If it collapses back to the original, it will be erased — we say so, and show what it becomes.
Stays in the basic plane
Most styled alphabets sit above U+FFFF, so one letter counts twice against a length limit and can be truncated mid-character.
No stacked marks
Styles that pile combining marks onto letters render differently everywhere and are the first thing moderation strips.
Arabic stays joined
A kashida is never placed after a letter that does not join forward (ا د ذ ر ز و), or it detaches into a floating dash mid-name.

Usually it was not rejected but normalised. Try the styles marked "holds".
Does it work with Arabic names?
Yes. Arabic has no styled alphabets in Unicode the way Latin does, so we use kashida and ornament, respecting letter joining.
